Ford Pick up 1937

The V8 engine invented by Henry Ford, was placed into the Pick Up truck in 1937. Many consumers felt that it was not economical and the horsepower went down from 80 to 60.

This car had its engine placed next to the driver instead of behind. The headlights were put near the fender with the badge near the hood of the car. It had a fuller grill and a vee'd windshield.

Ford Classics

Henry Ford built the first car in 1908 called the T model and it sold for $950. In it's nineteen years of production the price dropped to $280 and almost 15,500,000 were sold in the United States.

This was his first commercial vehicle but he had started making other cars Model A and C in 1903, which is when he founded his company and the Model A was the firm's car.

The Model T evolved from being a luxury item to an essential piece of transportation.

Henry used innovative production techniques, which could turn out a chassis every 93 minutes.

In 1914 the car was mass produced and manufactured every 23 minutes, turning Henry Ford into an international celebrity.

In 1932 he introduced the V8 engine.

Ford Mustang 1960's

This model was inspired by the Ford Falcon which was a compact vehicle.

The 1965 Ford Mustang was the most successful launch after model A. It has been through several transformations and from what it was up to what it is now, has changed drastically.

It was considered a pony or muscle car as it has 2 doors and came in hatchback, coupe, fastback and convertible.

John Ferzely, the stylist was infatuated with the mustang fighter plane in WW2 and created the design of the motorcar from that.

The mustang was first shown off at the Grand Prix and proved to be as fast as the formula 1 cars racing.

The mustang name was not allowed to be used in Gemany, as thwy had a trucking company by that name and ford mustangs sold in Germany in 1960s were sold as T5's.
